Daily Bible Reflections

Today’s reflections after Day 58 of “The Bible in a Year (with Fr. Mike Schmitz):

  • Lenten Challenge: This week, set aside a half an hour each day, to slowly and prayerfully read and meditate on Numbers chapter 7. Think about what stood out to you from the reading. Then slowly read it again.
  • If some guys start a men’s Bible study, and they focus on the book of Deuteronomy, they need to call it “Dude-a-ronomy”.
  • The nation of the Am’orites was probably full of comedians and jokesters, and that’s where the name came from amirite or Am’orite?
  • Fr. Mike is so excited to see you tomorrow; but I am absolutely losing my mind in anticipation of seeing you all tomorrow. I don’t think I’m going to be able to sleep tonight.
