Bible in a Year Update!

Back to blogging!

It is day 200 and something, and I’m still keeping up with Fr. Mike’s Bible in the Year! In fact, Fr Mike reading the Word of God today got me so motivated, that I had to jump onto the blog here and write! I’m talking about the book of Isaiah, which is one of the most profound and poetic books in the Old Testament, IMHO.

This morning, one verse from Isaiah hit me like a hammer – one of those verses that stopped me dead in my tracks, and spoke directly to my heart. I’m talking about Isaiah 60:6, and I want to share it with you today:

A multitude of camels shall cover you! The young camels of Midian and Ephah!”

Wow! So. Many. Camels. And good young ones, from the best camel places! Imagine being COVERED in the highest quality camels!

This is one that we can carry with us for a long time, and in difficult moments, we can reflect back on this and know that God has all these wonderful camels planned for us.

And that’s all I have to add to the blog today. I’m so thrilled that you were able to read this blog today and I am beyond ecstatic thinking about how far you’ve come, and will see you all here next time!
